After years of inconsistent learning with school closures, mandates, sporadic and forced online learning, and not enough experienced teachers to fill supply teaching jobs, our children’s mental health, academic achievement and excitement for learning has plummeted. What we used to think school looked like no longer exists today. Families are growing increasingly alarmed at rampant violence in schools, the politics of strike action, and the trend towards dismantling parental consent and involvement in their child’s learning.
Instead of continually trying to repair a broken school system, we chose to focus our energy on creating a new, alternative education system that families need right now.

There are many incredible and knowledgable parents that have already taken the leap to homeschool their children! Families absolutely can homeschool themselves without the need for professional guidance. There are a wide variety of homeschool blogs, websites, support groups and parents who offer advice.
What we want to offer differs from homeschool experts around the world. In using our experience as teachers who have recently left the school system, we are able to understand families who also felt the call to homeschool their children at this time. Our goal is to empower parents who may feel overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin, but see a need for their children to learn in a loving, safe and supportive environment the school system is not providing. While our ability to homeschool differs from family to family, we at Bloom At Home Learning LLC offer a wide range of educational support services to empower families in becoming active educators in their child’s learning.
